Stop resisting who and what you are.

Allow the pain and sorrow to mourn out of you, without conscious intent.

Howl it out.

Let it all out. Let it out as the emotions it forms in movement. Hoarding it all in is bad for the body, bad for wealth, and bad for others.

You are on a personal or spiritual transition or rite of passage. Leave behind a relationship, belief, or behavioral pattern that’s no longer serving you. It’s an intensely personal and private journey – you, alone, work in isolation to make it happen.

Indicates discomfort – good, this is a positive sign that growth is happening. Feel into that energy, lean into it, and let it encourage you to keep moving forward and expanding yourself.

Reflection:

If you’ve been experiencing any emotional and personal pain as of late, think of this image of the wolves howling to the Full Pink Moon in Scorpio this week. Feel it reach deep, deep enough to access and draw out that pain that wants to howl in mourning or loss.

I encourage you to actually howl, whether at the moon or allow yourself to let out a good keening, wailing cry. Crying so intensely – even if you’re just going through the motion of it without actual tears flowing, if you’re not used to crying – can be hugely cathartic and help stagnant energy flow.

It’s important for us to mourn, even over the little things. Small losses, tiny defeats, mini failures. A lot of us need to grieve the little events that cause us pain, not just the big ones.

The message of discomfort can speak to us both spiritually as well as physically. Physical pain in particular can be a tad alarming, if you overthink it. But changing your mindset to viewing discomfort as a growing pain, as this reading offers, is vital, I think, to healing and developing – even if the “discomfort” or “pain” is “negative,” changing our mindset to see it as a way to growth is hugely powerful for boosting our body’s immunity and surpercharging our body to healing.

You truly want to be strong, to be capable, to be able to fight and stand strong in the face of danger and adversity.

You want to release anxiety and uncertainty, to say no and stand your ground.

You worked hard to get to where you are but there are voices trying to tear you down.

But guess what?

You already are totally prepared to handle what comes for you – just DO it! Defend yourself!

Reflection:

If saying “no” is not one of your strong suits, you probably wish you stood as strong and as confident as this man when faced with the need to defend yourself and your ground. But maybe you buckle when others push against you, maybe you find it hard to stand up for yourself.

Those voices trying to tear you down might be real or virtual “haters” and “trolls” on the internet or elsewhere, real-life bullies whose words seek to hurt you. But they might also be voices in your head, telling you what you “should” be doing, where you should be at this point in your life, minimizing your achievements, etc. They could be the voices of things you picked up, that you really don’t need to listen to or be carrying around anymore.

Be like this man – no, wait a minute – you are already this man in the card! You are strong and capable and already able to defend yourself! You’ve already prepared yourself! And you’re worth defending. Your successes and what you’ve accomplished in life is worth defending against any negative self-talk or opinions that seek to tear it down.

So do it! Stand up for yourself! Especially in your own head!
