The Path to Self-Validation

Welcome! Join me in this Sacred Space where we can discover what Guidance the Universe holds for us this week!

Each week I will draw cards from different Tarot and Oracle decks with the intention of drawing fresh Insight and Inspiration from the Universe to help us in our daily lives!

See the category Weekly Tarot for all previous readings!

The Chariot

The Chariot in Tales of Anieth Stone Nature Deck

What if you’re actually okay? What if you don’t have any problems until people come into contact with you, pushing and imposing their opinions and perspectives on you?

You need to be left alone. You might be angry at others for disrupting your peace of mind, with their opinions that aren’t even important to you right now, aren’t even “right.” You might be bitter that you need to remove yourself, that you suddenly have to defend yourself, something you never wanted to need to do.

You’re angry that they made you move from your spot, as if they have the right to make you move, as if they are automatically right.

Try to remember how you’re actually peaceful, until you remember others.

Reflection:

This deck definitely doesn’t get the PR it deserves. It’s by a little-known artist, A. R. Stone, who is actually really amazing and makes truly incredible, intentional art.

Here is The Chariot card, represented by a snail on a leaf on the water. The rune is the Celtic tree (Ogham) rune of “gort” for ivy. According to the guidebook, “carbad” refers to a vehicle made like a wicker basket for carrying things. The Chariot is about movement, driving motion. Or, in contrast, it’s about digging in and staying put. This time I took it to mean the latter, especially in a defending way, about others trying to move you from your seat / where you stand, with the ending message that you need to remember the wisdom in your own self and to listen to that more than the clamoring voices of others.

The Lovers

The Lovers in Fauna Tarot

You don’t need everybody, just that one who “gets” you.
See all your answers in them, and receive your healing from Knowing that you are Loved.

I know you’re hurting, that your past self is throbbing in pain. But just as you want to hold and comfort her, see her in yourself – see that you are doing the best that you can do, that you are precious and good the way you are. Love her now – Love her for who she is in the Now as you.

Reflection:

I can’t believe I drew my favorite card in this deck in my first reading with it! The Fauna Tarot by CanisMinorArt is brand new! It just came out this year. It’s a Majors only deck, meaning it only contains the Major Arcana cards, which leads to a precise and focused reading. I love this artist and their creations so much that I hope they continue to expand it into a full seventy-eight card deck!

This card is just so special to me! It’s just so soft, and loving, and understanding, that it makes me feel so warm and loved inside. The colors, the symmetry, the figures all work together to make a beautiful piece of art that you can feel inside your heart-center.

Today, I understood this to mean how we don’t need to search for everyone to understand us. We don’t need a huge list of friends who “get” us. If you have one (or two, or whatever) people who stick around through your challenging moments and have helped you discover who you really are and love you unconditionally, then count your lucky stars! You have more understanding and care in your life than some have! And consider that they’re maybe that’s all you ever needed <3

The Stars (reversed)

The Stars in The Magpie’s Lenormand

You need to reconnect to the bigger picture.

You’re letting yourself get distracted

Stop focusing on searching for self-validation outside of yourself.
This neglects your Self.

Stay between.

You’re True – Keep doing your work

Reflection:

I don’t usually read with Lenormand Tarot decks. I’ve tried, but I don’t really understand or like the method. That being said, I actually have a couple Lenormands in my collection (chosen for their immaculate art), but I read them more like oracle cards – I use my Intuition and Tarot knowledge to guide me to the right and relevant message for that Moment.

This week seems to have a theme of sticking to your own Truths, to reading inside yourself to understand what you need to do, how you need to go. We don’t need to look outside for validation of what our Soul wants us to experience on this Earth plane in this Lifetime. No one else can tell us what we are supposed to be doing, how we’re supposed to be being. “No thine own self be true,” as they say. We must learn how to validate our own existence from the Spark of Source living and breathing and glowing within our Selves.
